Intermediate Metaphysics Glossary

Astral Projection

Definition: Astral projection is the experience of consciously separating your awareness from your physical body to explore other realms or planes of existence—often referred to as the astral plane. Some people access it through deep meditation, lucid dreaming, or out-of-body experiences (OBEs).

Why it matters: These journeys can offer insight, healing, or a broader sense of self beyond the physical. It's often described as feeling hyper-aware while your body remains in a relaxed, dream-like state.

Real talk: Not everyone’s going to float above their body or travel through wormholes. Some people get brief flashes, symbolic dreams, or “downloads.” Don’t get caught up in whether it’s “real” enough—your experiences are valid, even if they don’t look like what someone else described online.

Channeling

Definition: Harnessing energy to direct it into any given field of your choosing. Many people confuse with Mediumship, which is a form of channeling, but this is not the case. Some of the most famous and notable artists have attributed their method to 'divine inspiration', such as actors in screen and play, who 'channel' the personality of the characters they are playing.

Why this matters: Because, to do this simply requires practice in learning how to detect resonance, then dropping down into that field you are trying to channel, then embracing the information that comes through.

Example: Many actors and writers meditate as part of their daily routine, while many do not...what it is they do to tap into this frequency still happens, it's just not happening consciously.

Nonlinear Time

Definition: Time is not a straight line. It’s not past → present → future. In both quantum theory and many spiritual traditions, time is a layered, multidimensional field where all moments exist simultaneously.

Why it matters: This means healing doesn’t only happen forward—it ripples backward and sideways. Your growth now can affect past lives, future timelines, and soul fragments across realities. Time is more like a spiral than a clock.

Example: You resolve an ancestral pattern, and suddenly your dreams change. You choose differently today, and your future trajectory shifts in ways you can’t yet see. That’s timeline healing. That’s soul-level navigation.

Sacred Geometry

Definition: Sacred geometry is the language of creation expressed through shapes, patterns, and ratios found throughout nature, the cosmos, and our bodies. Think: spirals in sunflowers, the golden ratio, Metatron’s Cube, or the Flower of Life. These forms carry energetic frequencies that reflect divine order and harmony.

Why it matters: Sacred geometry isn’t just pretty—it encodes energetic truths. Meditating on or working with these patterns can align your energy, shift your frequency, and help you tap into the architecture of the universe.

Example: Wearing or drawing a Flower of Life symbol might help you feel more centered. Not because it’s magic—but because it resonates with the natural geometry your energy body already recognizes as “home.”

Sacred Rage

Definition: Sacred rage is anger that’s rooted in truth, integrity, and love. It’s not about destruction or projection—it’s about boundaries, clarity, and reclamation. When expressed with consciousness, rage becomes a purifier, not a poison.

Why it matters: Most of us were taught to suppress rage, especially those conditioned to be polite, spiritual, or accommodating. But anger is not inherently wrong. Suppressed rage becomes illness. Honored rage becomes fuel for change. Sacred rage burns away the lie so the truth can stand.

Example: You feel your body heat up, your jaw clench, your voice tremble—and instead of shutting it down, you breathe into it, speak from it, and reclaim your power. That’s sacred rage. It doesn’t lash out; it calls bullshit with love.

Sacred Union

Definition: Sacred union is the inner and outer merging of divine masculine and feminine energies in balanced partnership. It happens within a person first—then, potentially, in relationship. It’s not about roles—it’s about resonance.

Why it matters: Sacred union isn’t about finding “your other half.” It’s about becoming whole so your connections mirror that wholeness. When your intuitive, creative feminine harmonizes with your steady, protective masculine, you stop leaking energy and start creating from aligned power.

Example: Instead of chasing or controlling love, you hold your own center. You attract from a place of embodiment. Whether single or partnered, you operate from sovereignty—and any relationship you’re in reflects that.

Timeline Shifting

Definition: Timeline shifting is the process of moving from one potential reality to another through changes in vibration, belief, or conscious choice. It doesn’t require a visible event—just a shift in frequency that places you on a path aligned with a new outcome.

Why it matters: Every choice you make—every internal shift—aligns you with a different version of your future. You’re doing this all the time, even if you’re unaware. The more conscious you become, the more power you have to redirect your life without forcing anything. This is manifestation through energetic alignment, not effort.

Example: You wake up and decide not to react the same way you always have. You speak your truth calmly instead of spiraling. That single energetic decision puts you on a new trajectory where conversations unfold differently, opportunities align, and relationships evolve—or fall away.

The Veil / The Fall of the Veil

Definition: The Veil refers to the energetic filter that limits human awareness of other dimensions, timelines, and nonphysical beings. It creates a sense of separation from source, spirit, and our multidimensional nature. The “Fall of the Veil” refers to the gradual or sudden lifting of this illusion, often triggered by mass awakenings, spiritual shifts, or major planetary events.

Why it matters: When the veil thins or drops, people begin remembering who they are, seeing through programming, and accessing abilities or memories they once thought impossible. It can feel destabilizing—but it’s also deeply liberating.

Example: After a major life event, you start seeing synchronicities daily, sensing energy, or questioning everything you were taught. That’s veil-shifting. When large numbers of people experience this at once (like during global crises or energetic waves), we witness a collective crack in the illusion.
